Evaluation: I evaluate each racehorse in my stable when first acquired and thereafter on regular schedules for overall health, soundness, ability, and speed based on track surfaces and condition. My staff and I also check each horse on a daily basis.
Custom Training - After each evaluation, I develop a custom training schedule and special diet for each racehorse based on their abilities to meet their owner's short and long term goals. I offer facilities which include: a circular walking & trotting machine; a swimming pool; a 1 mile training race track; and a 7 furlong (7/8 mile) training race track.
Communication - I believe it is very important to maintain a good relationship with the owners of the horses in my stables. To that end, I have an office in my stable where owners can relax, review their racehorse’s records, discuss their racehorse’s development with me, and plan their future horse racing goals. I invite owners to visit my stables any time during regular office hours or by appointment after business hours.
High-Quality Care - Each racehorse in my stable is groomed daily and receives veterinary services, dental
services, and shoeing based on the thoroughbred 's training schedule and needs. Diets are adjusted for each racehorse, and the racehorses are fed many times a day. The stalls are maintained on a daily basis and regularly painted to maintain a clean and healthy environment. Racehorses which require “time-off” are transported to local horse farms where my staff provides quality care and allow the horses to graze in grassy paddocks.
Profit Potential - My goal is to take every effort to maximize the earnings potential of each racehorse in my stable while keeping the racehorse fit and healthy. I report to each owner when I believe their racehorse is ready to race, and make recommendations on which racetrack and race to enter.
